GLA Oversight Committee – The Chamber, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 10am

The GLA Oversight Committee will meet to scrutinise the value for money of the Mayor’s paid advertising across London, and whether it provides value for money for Londoners.

The Committee will also speak to TfL about its counter-fraud policies and how they work in practice.

Draft London Plan
Housing Committee – The Chamber, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 2pm

The Draft London Plan 2026 contains 10 policies which focus specifically on housing. The Housing Committee will examine these, with a particular focus on the following issues:

  • Overall housing targets in the London Plan
  • Delivering affordable housing
  • Meeting the need for services and infrastructure to support the growth in homes

Draft London Plan
Environment Committee – Committee Rooms 2&3, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 10am 

The Mayor has published a range of relevant plans and reviews to inform the draft London Plan. These include the Climate Ready London plan, the Clean Rivers and Waterways plan, a green belt review, and reviews of Energy efficiency standards, Accessible Green Space, and the Urban Greening Factor, as well as the Clean Rivers and Waterways plan. The Environment Committee will question the following guests on the environmental aspects of the new draft London Plan:

Underage Vaping
Health Committee – Committee Rooms 2&3, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 2pm 

The Health Committee will begin its investigation into Underage Vaping in the capital. The Committee will aim to understand to what extent underage vaping in London is a problem, ask what action London boroughs are taking to tackle underage vape sales and explore what further action the Mayor, Government and boroughs should take to tackle the issue.  The guests are:

Draft London Plan
Planning & Regeneration Committee – The Chamber, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 10am 

The Planning & Regeneration Committee will scrutinise the Draft London Plan. This meeting will examine the policy areas of:

  • Overall housing targets
  • Optimisation framework
  • Brownfield first and Green Belt release
  • Tall buildings and mid-rise development
  • New data centre policy
  • Heat risk plan
