Late Mayoral budget amendments

Budget & Performance Committee

Over the last six Greater London Authority (GLA) Group budgets, late amendments increased anticipated income by £1.2 billion – or an average of £198 million each year.

The Budget & Performance Committee will publish a letter to the Mayor outlining important lessons to be learned to improve both the effectiveness and the transparency of the delivery of the 2023-24 GLA Group budget.

Mayor’s budget plans 2023-24

As part of the statutory annual budget setting process, the GLA is required to submit its budget plans for the following financial year. The Budget & Performance Committee will focus on those plans. The guests are:

Mayoral Development Corporations

Planning & Regeneration Committee – The Chamber, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 10.00am

There are currently two Mayoral Development Corporations within London; the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) and the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC). Will these regeneration projects help the local people they are intended to?

GLA Group Public Health Unit

Health Committee – The Chamber, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 10.00am

In April 2022, the Mayor established a new GLA Group Public Health Unit, which aims to provide advice and support on public health issues across the GLA Group. The Health Committee will examine the progress and impact of the unit since it was established. The guests are:
