TfL's Taxi and Private Hire Action Plan 2025

Transport Committee – The Chamber, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 10am

London’s taxi industry is in decline, with the number of licenced cabs falling by more than a third in the 10 years to 2023-24.

The Transport Committee will ask Transport for London (TfL) about concerns raised by the Taxi and Private Hire Action Plan, and what more they can do to support drivers and operators.

The Met’s view on decriminalising cannabis

Police and Crime Committee – The Chamber, City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 10am

In May, the London Drugs Commission released its 320-page report, “The cannabis conundrum: a way forward for London”.

The Police and Crime Committee will meet to question the Met and Deputy Mayor on the findings of the London Drugs Commission report, and how the Met and the Mayor will help push forward any recommendations.
