Make Votes Matter – cross party event

A political culture that places the voices of young people front and centre is imperative, particularly now the voting age has been lowered to 16.
In its 25th Anniversary year, the London Assembly is hosting a very special cross-party event in conjunction with Make Votes Matter.

Declining number of children in London

The Economy, Culture and Skills Committee will begin its investigation into current and projected trends relating to birth rates and the number of children in London.
It will also seek to find out the long-term impact a reduction in young people will have on London’s schools, businesses and wider economy.
