FOI - Revenue generated from film and TV productions at City Hall

Your request 

1. How much revenue has been received by your organisation for services rendered to film and television productions? This could include location rental, permits and all other services related to film productions using your personnel or resources.
2. Please outline the type of work or service rendered, in each case and disclose the revenue received for each type of service.
3. How much has your organisation spent on facilitating such arrangements between 2006 to 2015, inclusive, broken down by year?

Our response

1. The data we hold for film related income only goes back to the 2010/11 financial year. This has been attached.
2. Please see related documents.
3. We cannot provide this information. Some of the facilities provided (i.e. cleaning, security etc.) are part of an existing contract and so can't be broken down into the filming use. Also, we do not keep details on the time taken to process applications or how much this would cost in officer time.
