Hope this email finds you well. I have been looking for the waste management information for London and could not find anything after 2015 online. Not sure if am not looking at the right place.
Can you please share the below information with me:
1. Amount of waste generated by London in the last 3 years, by waste categories.
2. What happens to the waste collected from each borough? How much of it is recycled, how much is biodegraded, burned, how much is exported for landfills etc.
3. What is London's waste management strategy? I understand we have a 2021 zero waste plan, but what are the interim milestones, and how we are tracking in that regard so far?
The reason I am asking for this information is personal. The amount of waste we create is insane, and I am starting a journey personally to zero waste. Trying to start a similar journey as a group for my colleagues at work, hence looking for this data to spread awareness.
