Information about the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) is available on the GLA website.

By way of background, funding for the UKSPF’s three investment priorities is being managed in different ways, as follows: 

• For Communities and Place (C&P) the full allocation has been awarded to the 32 London boroughs and the City of London Corporation. 
• For Supporting Local Business (SLB) projects are being funded as a result of a bidding round; boroughs have been awarded funding; London and Partners is in receipt of UKSPF funding. 
• For People and Skills (P&S), a bidding round is currently open (closing on 18 October at 5pm). In addition, it is planned that funding will be awarded to London’s sub-regional partnerships, as set out at the above weblink. 

Please see the answers to your questions in turn below:

1. Currently the only funding available is via the P&S bidding round. The contact email is [email protected]. Funding for SLB and C&P has already been committed. 
2. The People and Skills bidding round is currently open, but closes on 18 October 2023. Details of the bidding round, and further information is available at the above weblink. C&P funding has been awarded to boroughs, as noted above, and it is for them to determine how they use the funding, and work with organisations or groups, within the framework of UKSPF.
3. All local authorities in London (the boroughs and the City of London Corporation) were eligible to apply for funding under the SLB bidding round. All local authorities are eligible to receive funding under C&P. For the current P&S bidding round, all local authorities are eligible to apply. A list of local authorities in London:
