Summary of request
Copy of request:
I would like to have access to the list of ads on the team volunteer brokerage website: https://www.london.gov.uk/what-we-do/volunteering/search/search-opportunities
Not only the currently displayed but all the ads ever published.
For each ad I would like to know (I will using this ad as an example https://www.london.gov.uk/what-we-do/volunteering/search/shop-volunteer-norbury-0):
- title of the ad ("Shop Volunteer - Norbury")
- entity ("Cancer Research UK")
- location ("London Rd, Norbury, London, SW16 4BZ")
- the tags associated ("People and communities") - if more than one feel free to report all them
- how many people registered their interest
- (if you know) how many people ended up taking the position and (if you know) for how long.
- when the ad was published
- when the ad was removed
If for you it is easier to extract all the information (e.g. so also travel, start date, description under what will I be doing, etc) I can then select myself the info I am interested in.
Our response:
I can confirm the GLA holds information within the scope of your request.
The GLA holds information from 2013 to 2023 only.
The GLA does not hold data that shows how many people took up the position/for how long.
Please find attached CSV document which contains the information we hold within the scope of your request.
Please note that the ‘published’ and ‘removed’ dates may not be accurate due to changes to the technology behind the website.
The ‘created’ date (the date a role is created in draft format) has been added as it might be helpful, but please be aware that does not mean the advert in question was published on that date. In some cases there is a long time between the role being created and the publication of an advert for it.
If you have any further questions relating to this matter, please contact me, quoting the reference MGLA200923-6768.
If you are unhappy with the way the GLA has handled your request, you may complain using the GLA’s FOI complaints and internal review procedure.
