FOI - Subscriptions to newspapers, magazines and television channels [Jul 2021]

Key information

Request reference number: MGLA090621-5369

Date of response:

Summary of request

Your request

Could you please tell me what subscriptions to newspapers, magazines and television
channels City Hall funds?

What is the annual cost of each of those subscriptions?

Our response

Please see the attached list of newspapers and magazines that are ordered corporately and their costs.

The GLA publishes all spend over £250. The records can be filtered by category. There is a category for publications and periodicals and the attached payments should appear there under ‘Prenax'. However, please note that there are other payments in this category and that not all payments are related to newspapers and magazines.

City Hall pays a licence fee to the BBC for the TVs used in the building which costs £159. All free to air channels from Sky and Freeview are available. City Hall does not have any paid subscriptions to TV channels.

If you have any further questions relating to this matter, please contact me, quoting reference MGLA090621-5369.
