Long-term absence cases, which are defined in the GLA’s Sickness Absence Policy as: ‘a continuous period of absence lasting for four consecutive weeks or more’:
1 April 2018 to 31 March 2019 26
1 April 2019 to 31 March 2020 25
1 April 2020 to 31 March 2021 16
1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022 40
In this time, no members of staff have been dismissed due to long-term sickness.
