We have a service agreement with MoneyFit to provide:

There have been several meetings and emails between the director of MoneyFit and the
Culture, Values and Wellbeing Specialist since November 2024. The first meeting took place at a Making a Difference Wellbeing festival late last year. These meetings have been focussed on discussing the key features and benefits of the MoneyFit platform and the cashback card.

We agreed to launch in May this year just after mental health awareness week. We had a
meeting on 24th April to agree the details of the launch webinar.

The meeting on 24th April was attended by the MoneyFit director, the Culture, Values and
Wellbeing Specialist and a member of the Internal Communications team. The timings for the MoneyFit launch webinar on 22nd May were finalised and MoneyFit agreed to share some lines  to be included in the calendar invitation. Once the lines were received and shared with Internal Communications, the calendar invitation was added into staff calendars on 30th April with a link to join the launch webinar on 22nd May at 1.00-1.30pm.

Prior to this launch event in May, the Moneyfit director attended the GLA Wellbeing Showcase on 30th January and provided staff with information about the MoneyFit portal and the potential savings that could be made by registering for a MoneyFit Cashback card.

I have shared three emails/calendar invitations relating to the planning for the MoneyFit launch event on 22nd May between the director of MoneyFit, the Culture, Values and Wellbeing Specialist and Internal Communications. Also, included is the briefing document.

(Personal information) of the Freedom of Information Act. This information could potentially
identify specific employees and as such constitutes as personal data which is defined by Article 4(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to mean any information relating to an identified or identifiable living individual. It is considered that disclosure of this information would contravene the first data protection principle under Article 5(1) of GDPR which states that Personal data must be processed lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner in relation to the data subject.

We are excited to announce the launch of a new wellbeing offering for all GLA colleagues going live on Thursday 22nd May. MoneyFit is a financial wellbeing tool designed to help build your confidence, control, and capacity with your finances. In this session, we’ll be explaining how you can make the most of MoneyFit and how to apply for a free MoneyFit Cashback card that will help make your money go further.

The session will be delivered by , Director at MoneyFit and a founding member of the Money and Pensions Service Pensions Dashboard Steering Group.

we’ll update you once the new cashback card FAQs are live. We recommend that you keep
the exact detail of levels of cashback and retailers to closer to the launch as it will generate demand once people know what they can save and you don’t then want people having to wait for weeks. I’ll update early May.

Great to catch up earlier. A quick note to confirm that the URL has been updated to:
https://www.moneyfit.co.uk/app/glapilot and will be changed to gla for the launch on 22nd May.

We will send you over some text shortly for the Webinar invitation which will be on 22nd May 1.00pm – 1.30pm. The site will go live on this date too and people will be able to register for the cashback card from this date.

As mentioned, we are updating the card section of the website with new FAQs in the next couple of weeks so people will be signposted to that when your site goes live. In the meantime, we’ll send some assets over to to use to talk about the card. Please see notes on update in red below:

Wellbeing spotlight in 1 May Core Brief will include MoneyFit teaser and promote webinar. – To include headline message about the launch and Webinar on the 22nd May
Invite text for all staff invite and event page to be ready by 29 April for inclusion in Core Brief. to supply Intranet content team to be engaged- content to be linked from Wellbeing and HR/reward pages. Pages to be ready ahead of 22 May so staff can be directed there at the Webinar. QR code and final Link to be provided for the Intranet, link to go live on 22nd May
Intranet news article to remind staff that platform is live in 29 May Core Brief. This will link to event recording and permanent intranet pages. Draft article to be provided by 26 May. We will work with you on a series of ongoing communications to keep up excitement e.g. an infographic of completed quizzes, %age of Owls etc.
