Summary of request

Your request

Covering the financial years 2020-21 and 2021-22:

  • Access to all relevant performance information on the provision of customer and other services at Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing (MTVH);
  • Access to all relevant internal financial and value for money audit reports on the provision of customer and other services at MTVH;
  • Access to a full and detailed breakdown of the public funds received by MTVH, how these have been spent, and how MTVH and the Housing Ombudsman ensures that such public funding is providing value for money.

Our response

We do not hold information regarding provision of customer and other services. We monitor their delivery of affordable units. This information will be held by MTVH themselves.

We do not hold audit reports on the provision of customer and other services.

Regarding MTVH’s bid for affordable housing from the GLA, more information can be found in the Affordable Homes Programme 16-23 Funding Guidance and the Capital Funding Guide.

The GLA runs a competitive process regarding funding through the Mayor’s Affordable Homes Programmes. Each funding bid is assessed against number of factors including the provision of additional affordable housing, the structure of the scheme, that is one delivered by a registered provider or a developer and grant funding as a percentage of total scheme costs.

The Social Housing Regulator has a Value for Money Standard and MTVH will have internal and external audit processes.

MTVH received an allocation of £43.67m to deliver 1493 units at tariff grant rates through a Strategic Partnership under the Affordable Homes Programme 2016-23. We do not hold information on all the public funds they receive and how they are spent. We also do not hold information on the Housing Ombudsman policies. You can find the Ombudsman’s contact details and guidance on how to submit a complaint to them on their website.
