Since Sadiq Khan took office as Mayor of London, how much taxpayer money has been spent in each year on the following:
1. Public relations services for the Mayor's Office by private companies?
1(a). The nature of the service provided and the contracting companies for each of these public relations services provided?
2. Gifts and their respective values that have been given to other individuals or
groups by the Mayor of London or the Mayor's Office.
2(a). Who these gifts were given to and for what purpose.
3. Internal entertainment for the Mayor's office (for instance, Christmas parties or other
such parties).
I am referring to the Mayor and his team only.
Our response is as follows:
We can confirm that the GLA does not buy any public relations services for the Mayor’s Office.
The GLA does not have a record of who has received gifts from the Mayor of London since his election. Any gifts received by the Mayor, Mayor’s Office or any GLA Members or staff must be declared in line with the GLA’s Gifts and Hospitality Policy and Procedure.
No public money has been spent on internal entertainment for the Mayor’s Office.
