Request reference number: MGLA020124-2905
Date of response:
Summary of request
Following the publication of the London Assembly Annual Report for 22/23, it states that the Assembly made 412 recommendations (page 8).
Please can you list each of these recommendations and set out for each which of these has been adopted by the body that the Assembly has made the recommendation towards.
I assume that this should be a straightforward request, have this information ready to hand and is not a time limited since you have set out that the Assembly has made a very specific number of recommendations and that, given you have made them, that the Assembly then tracks whether they have been successful in seeing this work and suggestions adopted in real life by the delivery body.
Our response
- List of recommendations
This information is publicly available on our website. Recommendations are published on: https://www.london.gov.uk/who-we-are/what-london-assembly-does/london-a…
- Which recommendations have been adopted?
The London Assembly does not currently centrally record adoption of recommendations. Responding to your request would require the creation of new information that was not already recorded at the time of your request and is therefore not held. Creating and compiling this information would additionally exceed the cost limitation under section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act.
The London Assembly may choose in future to record information of this type in relation to recommendations. It is its normal practice for the Assembly to be transparent in the publishing of any information, for example in the Annual Report.
Under our duty to assist, the Mayor’s responses to recommendations made by the Assembly are publicly available and published in the agenda in the following meeting after the response is received. A meeting calendar, and agendas for each meeting can be found on the London Assembly website: Monthly meetings calendar - April 2026 | London City Hall
