Response
The Greater London Authority (GLA) was recently successful in its bid to the second round of the government’s Levelling Up Fund for £43.17m to support two Transport for London (TfL) projects that will provide step free access and increased capacity at Colindale and Leyton Underground stations. Alongside considerable internal resource, TfL spent £8,357.75 (excluding VAT) with consulting firm Atkins to provide economic analysis to support the preparation of the GLA bid. The London Boroughs of Barnet and Waltham Forest also contributed significant officer time and procured some minor external support. For details on this spending please contact the boroughs directly.
