  1. Do you believe it was fair ticket prices were elevated to extreme prices by bots and scammers buying them out of the hands of true fans to only make a profit?
  1. Is it true that during the Eras Tour’s time in your city, crime rates had fallen for a temporary period of time?
  1. What thoughtful gesture did Taylor Swift make in your city? Donate to a charity? Donate money to a foodbank?

Response:

The GLA does hold some information in scope of your first two questions, which is publicly available. The GLA calculated an estimate of the boost to the capital’s economy:

Taylor Swift’s record-breaking The Eras Tour to generate £300m for the capital’s economy – as London confirms status as the world-leader for music | London City Hall

Please see the notes at the end of the page for more information.

The GLA does not hold data that answers the rest of your questions directly.

It is very likely that local economies have been boosted by the Eras Tour, although it’s quite difficult to arrive at a definitive measure of the total impact at this stage. By the same token, it is difficult to ascertain the link between the Tour and things such as crime rates and small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) activity.
