I am asking for details of projects specifically aimed at early years services or childcare, rather than funding for schools, and I am referring to the last five full financial years (from 2017-18).
Our response
The CIL and the Mayoral CIL
In London CIL is collected and spent by the London boroughs on their own activities.
The GLA receives the Mayoral CIL, which is also collected by the London boroughs. The Mayoral CIL is used to finance Crossrail. The GLA website provides further information.

Section 106
Section 106 contributions in London are also collected and spent by the London boroughs on their own activities, but in some instances boroughs pass Section 106 to the GLA for expenditure.
