Our response

Please find the Values and Principles document attached. 

14 Commissioners were appointed to be members of the Commission for Diversity in the 
Public Realm following an open recruitment process. The Commission is co-chaired Deputy Mayor for Social Integration, Social Mobility and Community Engagement, Dr Debbie Weekes-Bernard and Deputy Mayor for Culture and the Creative Industries, Justine Simons OBE. 

The Commissioners were selected to represent a range of communities, specialisms and 
expertise, including architecture, art history, community engagement, contested heritage, 
social justice, commissioning public art, and place making.

The Values and Principles document was developed by the Commissioners, using their 
professional expertise. No specialists or organisations were commissioned to help draw up 
the document.
