By instalment I refer to the cost to erect the lights.
By cost of running, I refer to the energy costs associated with the lights being turned on.
By duration of the Christmas lights I mean how long have the lights been up and running;
E.G. in 2021 the lights were erected 1st of December, and they ran until the 1st of January, being switched on every night.

The ceremony to turn on the lights at Trafalgar Square always falls on the first Thursday of December and as tradition the tree is removed on the twelfth day of Christmas.
