Summary of request
Please provide a copy of all information provided to the GLA by the OPDC that documents potential:
- waste heat supply sites
- processing depot sites (with heat pumps to raise temperatures, for instance), and
- distribution pipe routes within the OPDC boundary.
Please provide the dates of the provision of that information to you, and if there are other versions provided previously that have been superseded.
Our response
Please find attached the information that the GLA holds within the scope of your request.
This data that was shared to the London Heat Map via OPDC in a geospatial format, We have also confirmed with the previous consultant who delivered the London Heat Map that there was no previous version of this data shared by OPDC and the date for this was 30/06/2022, which is also found in the attribute table in the data.
I am unsure whether you are able to access this data in this format, so I have also exported the tabular component of the data to Excel format and also exported a jpeg file showing the data on a map. I hope you find this helpful.
Please note that this information is from 2022 and I am informed by OPDC that it is not up to date and to flag the source of the information as CD169. The excel files includes multiple links to this. CD169 was the OPDC decision to progress the initial feasibility study for a heat network funded by the GLA’s LEA (which was approved in 2021). If you have any further queries about this you may wish to contact OPDC.
