Your request 

Please provide me with the total number of people who are subscribed to London Power for each quarter since its inception. The total number of people who i) signed up and ii) left London Power as a provider for each quarter since inception.

Our response

Since London Power was launched in January 2020 the wholesale and retail energy markets have seen a great deal of change and volatility. Customer acquisition outreach was constrained by the COVID-19 pandemic and, subsequently, the impact of wholesale prices which reached record levels in 2022 after the Russian invasion of Ukraine as well as the almost complete cessation of customer switching between suppliers, when virtually all energy suppliers became subject to the Ofgem price cap.

London Power had built up to 6,300 customers by Autumn 2021. Since then, its customer base has remained broadly steady, reflecting the high quality of customer service provided by London Power.
