Ref: 21/01948/OUTEA - Land Bound By Harrow Manorway, Yarnton Way, Lensbury Way And Maran Way, London (Lesnes estate).

We are aware that the London Borough of Bexley (‘Bexley council’) previously consulted with the Mayor of London on this application and received a Stage 1 decision from the Mayor on 10 August 2021. A GLA officer report was also produced, reference 2021/0692/S1. Can you please advise: 

1. If Bexley council has consulted again with the Mayor of London under Article 5 of The Town and Country Planning (Mayor of London) Order 2008, following it’s decision on 13 October 2022 to resolve to approve the application (known as a Stage 2 application)?
2. If a Stage 2 application this has occurred, please advise on which date and which documents and information were supplied to the Mayor.
3. If a Stage 2 decision has been made by the Mayor, please kindly provide that decision.
4. Further to the above, please provide any correspondence between Bexley council and the Mayor or GLA in relation to this application, after 13 October 2022.

Please advise if there will be opportunities for public comment on a Stage 2
application if it is submitted.

Our response

1. Bexley council has not yet consulted with the Mayor of London under Article 5 of The Town and Country Planning (Mayor of London) Order 2008, following it’s decision on 13 October 2022 to resolve to approve the application.
2. Non-applicable. A Stage 2 referral has not occurred. 
3. A Stage 2 referral has not occurred and a Stage 2 decision has not been made by the Mayor of London. 
4. Please see attached, detailing correspondence between Bexley Council and the Mayor or GLA in relation to this application, after 13 October 2022.
5. When the Mayor comes to make his final decision at Stage 2, he will take account of all representations, in addition to a detailed assessment of the proposal by planning officers. In due course the Mayor’s decision on this case will be published of the City Hall website.
