Summary of request

Your request

Dear FOI people

I’d like to make an FOI (actually probably an EIR) request for information relating to planning application Ref. 22/00300/FUL, which pertains to 100 Woodgate Drive, London SW16.

I’d like to receive a copy of representations made to you in relation to the Stage 2 referral of this application, which concluded last month.

The representations I’m interested in are those that you have listed on p8 of your report (Planning report /2022/0355/S2, 21st  October 2024).

In addition to those listed, I should like to receive a copy of any representations received in relation to this planning matter from Steve Reed MP; Neil Garrett AM; Councillor Sarah Cole (Lambeth, Streatham Common and Vale); Councillor Dominic Armstrong (Lambeth, Streatham Common and Vale).

(I’m asking for these as they are particularly relevant and may have made representations to you – and because you say “from politicians including…”, suggesting that your list may not be comprehensive.)

Our response

Follow up

  1. I have a question though - are you able to confirm that this is all the information that I asked for? In particular I’m confused by the absence of anything here from Steve Reed MP.
  2. But can I ask you, can you confirm that this letter from Steve Reed was not among the representations considered for this planning application?
  3. The same question applies, in fact, to Neil Garrett AM. I understand that he wrote to Deputy Mayor Jules Pipe about this application, but his name doesn’t appear in the GLA planning report and his letter also doesn’t appear in your response.

Our response

  1. Please accept our apologies for this omission. I can confirm that the representation from Steve Reed MP was received.
  2. The matters raised in Steve Reed’s letter (bulk, massing, proportion/out of character, overlooking, overshadowing, affordable housing and the quantum of single aspect units) are addressed in the GLA’s Stage 2 report. 3.
  3. The representation from Neil Garratt AM was received on 21 October 2024 and could not have been considered as it was received after the decision meeting earlier that day. Please find attached for information.
