Biography
In a long career in housing, including other senior roles within the GLA, Rickardo has led the Housing and Land Directorate’s new business function and the South London Area Team. He has established housing investment programmes and specialises in the structuring of recoverable investment to prepare land for housing delivery. In addition, he has overseen delivery of housing on GLA owned land in east and south London.
Rickardo joined the GLA in 2012, having previously worked in programme delivery and project management roles in the Housing Corporation and the Homes and Communities Agency (now Homes England).
Responsibilities
Responsible for the leadership and development of the functions allotted to the GLA’s Housing and Land directorate, to provide strategic and operational direction for the delivery of the Mayor’s housing, land and development programmes, pan London services, projects and priorities, and to be an active member of the GLA’s corporate management team.
