Fay Hammond

Biography

Fay brings a wealth of experience to the Greater London Authority, having previously served as the Executive Director for Resources and Section 151 Officer at Enfield Council. Before her tenure at Enfield, Fay worked at Southwark Council.

Fay is a qualified CIPFA accountant with over a decade of experience at a senior level in both inner and outer London boroughs.

Responsibilities

To lead and manage the Group Finance and Performance Unit and develop the required financial strategy across the GLA Group to ensure the Mayor’s objectives are met through delivery of the Mayor’s annual budget and group performance management.

Responsibilities include:

• leading the development of the consolidated budgets for the GLA Group
• developing and supporting an integrated financial and performance monitoring regime for the GLA and GLA Group
• securing greater efficiency and effectiveness across the GLA Group and the wider London public sector through promoting and delivering collaboration and shared services.
