Event details

Let's Do...St George's Day in London.

Over 20,000 people celebrated on Trafalgar Square last year, enjoying a flurry of everything brilliant about England and being English, all set in the iconic heart of the nation's capital.

We will be doing it all over again in April, with great music, food, markets, performers, and activities for the whole family, it's set to be a great day out.

Hosted by British television presenter, actress and Heart radio broadcaster, Zoe Hardman, this family event will include an afternoon programme of live music, walking entertainment, family activities, and of course traditional food stalls.

We look forward to seeing you live and in-person at Trafalgar Square!

'Your Chance To Shine' winners

An exciting competition, that offered talented Londoners in the arts, the chance to shine and apply to perform a 5-minute slot on the main stage at this year's festival in Trafalgar Square.

Dubbed 'Best of London' acts, the three lucky acts performing on the main stage are;

Faith says:

"I'm an artist from Camden, a singer-songwriter, and have an EP coming out soon. I am also working closely with the very talented Sacha Skarbek. I’ve been performing since I was 13 and have been looking for more live performance opportunities to branch out, and think this could be perfect!"

We do too, that's why you will see Faith performing on the main stage!

Bandini says:

"I’m a singer-songwriter originally from Italy, based in London for 10 years, where I work as a professional performer, playing weekly in multiple London venues. Bandini is pure, wild energy on stage, with Van Morrison, Dr.John, Tom Waits and The Clash among the main influences, blending jazz, blues, rock and gypsy into a dynamic live show."

We can't wait to see Bandini's enigmatic and theatrical stage performance on the main stage!

Formed in 2022 at Sixth Form college in Westminster (hence the name WestM*). Assembled by Rîon-Jensen (guitarist/ singer/ songwriter) and Kyal Patel (drummer/ songwriter), featuring band members Tien Albert (bassist), Sam Song (pianist) and Jessica Woolfenden (vocalist).

WestM* says:

"Collectively we have performed mini concerts at St Margret’s Church in Westminster, and have various social media videos, with many more performances scheduled."

This will an exciting time for the group, with this being the largest crowd they will perform to!
