Hear from Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London, and guests as we discuss the work on the city’s recovery so far and launch a new way for Londoners to get involved.
As a city we are facing the most challenging period in recent history - we need to restore confidence, minimise the impact on London’s most vulnerable and rebuild the city’s economy and society.
This exciting event included:
- A speech by Mayor Sadiq Khan on the vision for the future of the city
- A conversation led by Leader of Camden Council and Chair of London Councils, Georgia Gould, with:
- Professor Kevin Fenton, London Regional Director at Public Health England
- Professor Mariana Mazzucato, University College London and author of Mission Economy: A moonshot guide to changing capitalism
- A live Q and A where viewers submited questions to the Mayor and panel
- The launch of a newly redesigned Talk London website, where Londoners found out how they can get involved in the recovery work
- The launch of a new campaign calling for Londoners to share their ideas for revitalising their neighbourhoods
