Request:
I would like to request information in relation to the cost of operating stop and search within the Metropolitan police service.
They should be the total cost, including manpower, systems, processes, paperwork, reputational impact, storage of evidence, cost of prosecution, cost of investigation, cost of rotating staff for stop and search. They should pay for the full life-cycle, including development of powers, implementation, performing stop and search, and after effects of running such a service.
