Site location (Map View)
Site Description
The site is a rectangular parcel of fenced derelict land, which widens towards the rear boundary and which has been colonised by scrub and developing trees. The northern half is a former parking area for an adjacent property, with the southern half divided off by an internal fence. The site area is 188 sqm.
The surrounding area is predominantly characterised by residential properties. The northern section of Crossway where the site is located is characterised by two storey semi-detached houses, with a number of 3 storey flatted blocks situated along the southern section of the road.
The site is bounded on either side by 7 Crossway and 9 Crossway, which are two storey semi-detached properties with gardens. There is an existing window on the flank wall of number 9 at first floor level which faces directly onto the site. To the rear of the site are the gardens of properties along Greenway.
