Response to the Ofwat PR24 draft determinations consultation

The London Assembly Environment Committee has responded to Ofwat’s consultation on the PR2024 draft determinations, which set out the level of service that customers can expect from water companies and the prices that companies can charge between 2025 and 2030.

In its response, the Committee expresses its strong support for Ofwat’s focus on pricing and intent to limit bill increases to ensure the affordability of water for customers in London, and calls for a more ambitious target to reduce water leakage by 25 per cent by 2029-30, instead of the currently proposed 19%.
