1. Euro2020 Fan Zone Free Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

Entry is open to London residents aged 18 or over excluding employees of the Greater London Authority (GLA), Transport for London, London Legacy Development Corporation, Old Oak & Park Royal Development Corporation, the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime, or the London Fire Commissioner.

If you are using your work computer, you may need to obtain your employer’s permission prior to entering.

Entrants are not required to supply this information to enter the competition, but winners will need to produce copies of the following documents to the GLA before they will be awarded any prize (prizes will not be given to winners who fail to do so):

a) proof of identity and age with picture;

b) proof they live in London with a utility bill dated in the last 3 months, driving license, passport or similar; and

c) proof of a first COVID-19 vaccination: either (i) vaccination booking made - for that entrant between Tuesday 6th and Thursday 8th July 2021 (inclusive); or (ii) vaccination having been received by that entrant between Tuesday 6th and Thursday 8th July (inclusive) in a walk-in vaccination centre, to the reasonable satisfaction of the GLA which will include evidence provided via the NHS app or a vaccine certificate

d) In addition to the above, the winner of the UEFA Euro2020 Final pair of tickets at Wembley will need to provide a copy of a current passport or driving license for each attendee.

You must be contactable by phone on Friday 9th July. We will call all winners on Friday, if the call is not answered, we will leave a voicemail requiring them to call back within 1 hour if they wish to accept the prize. We reserve the right to reallocate the prize if the winner cannot be contacted or does not call back within this timeframe.

No purchase is necessary for participation in this prize draw.

Entries to the prize draw must be made on the official entry form on london.gov.uk. You must complete the online entry at www.london.gov.uk/euro-2020-tickets form and click the ‘I Agree’ icon to confirm that you have read and accept these Terms and Conditions. The GLA shall not be responsible for late, lost or delayed entries or network, computer hardware or software failures of any kind that may delay or restrict entry into the prize draw.

Only one entry per person.

Entrants who upload a picture of a social media post onto the official entry form (noted at clause 6 above) indicating that they have received or booked their first vaccination on one of the dates shown at clause 3 above will be automatically entered into the draw twice.

The closing time for entries is 08:59 on Friday 9 July 2021 (“the Closing Date”).

The prizes for the prize draw are: (a) 50 pairs of tickets to the EURO2020 Fanzone on Trafalgar Square for the UEFA Euro2020 Final on Sunday 11 July; and (b) 1 pair of tickets to the UEFA Euro2020 Final on Sunday 11 July at Wembley.

The 51 winners will be drawn at random observed by the GLA’s Data Protection Officer on Friday 9 July 2021.

The 1st winner drawn will be offered 1 pair of tickets as a guest of the Mayor to the UEFA Euro2020 Final at Wembley on Sunday 11th July. The other 50 winners will each receive a pair of tickets EURO2020 Fan Zone on Trafalgar Square.

Winners will be notified by telephone and email on Friday 9 July.

The winner of the Wembley tickets must be available to collect them in person from Palestra, 197 Blackfriars Road, London SE1 8JZ on Friday or Saturday by prior appointment.

The winner of the Wembley tickets will need the following to gain entry to Wembley:

a) Their ticket and photo ID

b) Face covering for enclosed areas

c) Either (i) Proof of a negative Lateral Flow Test (LFT), reported and demonstrated via a text message or email from NHS Test and Trace. This can be on your device (including a screenshot) or a printout. The test needs to be taken within 48 hours of the time stadium gates open (meaning three hours before match kick-off) OR (ii) proof of full vaccination - both doses received at least 14 days prior to the match (demonstrated via the NHS App or via the Scottish or Welsh vaccination record services).

d) Please note that due to security restrictions luggage will not be allowed into the stadium, only A4-size bags (210mm x 297mm x 210 mm) will be permitted. Please also see https://www.uefa.com/uefaeuro-2020/event-guide/london/stadium/COVID-19-guidance/ for other stadium requirements.

The winners of the tickets to the EURO2020 Fan Zone on Trafalgar Square will receive their tickets by email only.

Winners may be required to take part in promotional activities, such as photography and feature on our social media.

If you chose to submit an image of your social media post, your entry must be your own work, must not be copied, must not have been published before in any other publication (or on any website), must not contain any third-party materials and/or content that you do not have permission to use, must not promote your own or third party goods or services or include any trademarks and must not promote inappropriate or dangerous behaviour, or otherwise be obscene, defamatory, distasteful, offensive or in breach of any applicable law or regulation. If we have reason to believe your entry is not your own work or otherwise breaches this paragraph, then we may not consider it and may disqualify it.

You will own the copyright to your social media post entry. By submitting an entry to the Competition, you give the Greater London Authority permission for your entry to be used by the Greater London Authority and you grant the Greater London Authority a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use and publish your entry on its platforms.

The Promoter of the prize draw is the Greater London Authority of City Hall, The Queen’s Walk, London SE1 2AA. The decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.

There is no cash alternative to prizes.

Clicking the tick-box ‘I have read and accept the Terms and Conditions’ will constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions. The Greater London Authority reserves the right to refuse to award prizes to anyone found to be in breach of these terms and conditions.

These terms and conditions are governed by English Law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with state ‘Twitter’ ‘Facebook’ or ‘Instagram’ or any other social media platform.

Privacy statement – Your personal information will be properly safeguarded and processed in accordance with the requirements of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. The Greater London Authority will process your personal information for the sole purpose of administering this competition, informing you if you have won and if so, issuing your prize. The GLA will delete your personal data within five working days from the date all prizes have been awarded and collected by all winners. The GLA will not retain or otherwise process any of the personal data associated with the documents identified in paragraph three of these Terms and Conditions.
