Join us to celebrate TCV, The Community Volunteering charity's, 60th Anniversary.
As well as planting 3,500 new trees, activities will include:
- Woodland crafts
- Face painting
- Natural crafts for families
- Bulb planting
- Lunch and refreshments
- Guided nature tours of local nature reserves
- Learn to start a fire and boil water
For 60 years, TCV have been bringing together communities to improve and care for their green spaces.

What to Bring
- Please dress suitably for outdoor activity in clothes that you wouldn’t mind getting dirty and wet, bearing in mind the weather forecast. You may want to bring a change of clothes or shoes.
- Flat-heeled outdoor footwear or sturdy boots are ideal
- Any protective gloves, clothing and equipment will be provided by TCV
- A complimentary lunch and hot and cold refreshments will be provided
Accessibility
The site is step free and accessible to all. Toilets will be locate on site and there is plenty of free parking on Westbere Road next to the site.
Finding the Event
The nearest tube station is Kilburn (Jubilee Line). Also close are West Hampstead (Jubilee & Metropolitan Line/London Overground/Thameslink); Brondesbury (London Overground) and Cricklewood (Thameslink).
Bus route C11 (Archway to Golders Green) stops right outside the site.
The event will be well sign posted.
