This workshop will explore the future business models of the zero carbon city in Europe, bringing together leading urban operators, Multi-lateral Development Banks, City Governments, academic and financing experts. The objective of this workshop is to understand how public-private partnerships, joint ventures, procurement, bank lending and infrastructure finance, need to change to support urban operations that are zero carbon. These ‘urban operations’ might include waste, water, energy, transport, lighting, real estate, logistics, housing, and trade.



Professor Greg Clark, Senior Advisor, Future Cities & New Industries, HSBC will be moderating the afternoon.

Speakers include: Daniel Klier, Group General Manager and Global Head of Sustainable Finance and Zoe Knight, Managing Director, Group Head, Centre of Sustainable Finance, HSBC.
