Sadiq Khan, the Mayor of London, said –
“I am disappointed with the court’s decision today to allow Heathrow Airport a third runway which will have a damaging impact on air quality, noise and London's ability to achieve net-zero carbon by 2030.
“I would urge Heathrow to drop these damaging expansionist plans and instead focus on working with us to do everything possible to protect jobs and businesses and on a greener recovery from the aviation crisis.”
