The GLA is made up of the Mayor, his functional bodies and the London Assembly which scrutinises the Mayor’s operations. The Mayor is proposing to increase his core GLA spend to £767 million in 2020-21, more than 3 times what it was in 2016-17 for his first term in office at £240 million.
The London Assembly Budget and Performance Committee will review the GLA’s core Budget for 2020-21 with questions on Crossrail, the environment and housing on Monday, 16 December.
