London Assembly statement on the Daniel Morgan inquiry

City Hall
Created on
23 June 2021

Chairman of the London Assembly Police & Crime Committee, Shaun Bailey AM, said:

“There are people who know exactly what happened to Daniel Morgan. Their information could help end 33 years of suffering for the Morgan family.

“Today, the Police and Crime Committee heard what the Met Police is doing to try and solve the case, but the Met cannot do this on its own. Information is key to this inquiry.

“I therefore urge anyone with any information on this case, no matter how minor it seems, to contact the Met Police. You could help bring much-needed justice for Daniel’s family.”
