On the 27th June 2016, London Assembly Member Sian Berry met and listened to worried Kingston residents about redevelopment plans to their community.
Sian submitted a series of written questions to the Mayor about Kingston Housing Zone plans. [1][2][3][4][5][6]
Sian said:
“The residents of Cambridge Road estate are really concerned with the council’s process so far. Without robust council consultation and engagement residents’ fear being pushed out of the communities they know and love.
“Councils should be doing all that they can to involve residents in estate redevelopment process as soon as possible. It is essential that the Mayor develop a binding democratic process that sticks to his Manifesto commitment. No one should be left uncertain about the future of their homes,”
