Crossrail and the future

Police & Crime Committee – 10.00am in The Chamber

The Police & Crime Committee will hold its first regular question and answer session of the year with the Metropolitan Police and the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime.

  • Mental health and policing
  • Diversity in the Met

BAME Organ Donors

Health Committee – 2.00pm in The Chamber

The Health Committee will ask living donors, donor recipients, families of deceased donors and charity workers about the barriers to organ donation for people in Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities.

  • Lonyo, Actor/musician and recipient of a kidney transplant
  • Orin Lews OBE, Co-founder of the African & Caribbean Leukaemia Trust (ACLT)
  • Akua Kezia, Author of ‘Transplant Girl’ and recipient of a liver transplant at age 14
