MQT 2019 5
Created on
14 May 2020

Responding to the COVID-19 pandemic is at the top of everyone’s agenda. As we move to the next phase of the Government’s response strategy, what lies ahead for London?

On Wednesday, 20th May 2020 at 2:30pm, the GLA Oversight Committee will question the Minster for London, Paul Scully MP on London’s response to COVID-19. Topics to be discussed include:

  • The Government’s role in working with the Mayor and other important stakeholders;
  • Workers with highest risk of mortality;
  • Social distancing guidelines, both in public spaces, and in the workplace;
  • Guidance given to businesses for reopening; and
  • PPE availability

In line with government advice, this meeting will take place virtually.

Media and members of the public can watch the meeting live here.
