
London’s economy has been severely impacted by the pandemic, so how can the Mayor of London support London’s economy and businesses, and sectors like retail, hospitality, culture and the arts?
Tomorrow, the London Assembly will put questions to guests on London’s economic recovery as we emerge from COVID-19. The guests are:
- Jordan Cummins, Head of London Policy, Confederation of British Industry
- Jace Tyrell, Chief Executive, New West End Company
- Rowena Howie, London Policy Chair, Federation of Small Business
- John Dickie, Director of Strategy and Policy, London First
- Sam Gurney, Regional Secretary, Trades Union Congress, London, East and South East
- Cllr Georgia Gould, Local Enterprise Partnership for London (LEAP) Board Member and Chair of the London Recovery Taskforce’s, Economic Recovery Working Group
- Richard Burge, Chief Executive, London Chamber of Commerce and Industry
- Philip Graham, Executive Director Good Growth, GLA
The meeting will take place on Thursday, 23 July from 11:00am. In line with Government advice, this meeting will take place virtually.
Following the Q&A session a number of motions will be considered.
