Getting young Londoners engaged and involved in the running of their city is an important objective for the London Assembly.
London Youth Assembly (LYA) Members are aged between 11 to 19 and enthusiastic about bringing issues that matter to them to the forefront of local politics. Members come from youth councils and forums from every London borough.
Tomorrow’s LYA meeting will focus on youth violence and safety & protecting the environment.
There will also be a question and answer session with guest:
• Lib Peck, Director of the Violence Reduction Unit
The meeting will take place tomorrow at 5pm in The Chamber (The Queen’s Walk, London SE1).
Media and members of the public are invited to attend
