Local London Assembly member, John Biggs, is today asking residents of East London to let him know what they think of the TfL proposals to alter the bus services in East London during the Olympic Games.
The changes will be to increase the capacity of the buses or their frequency; divert the buses; or curtail them earlier than their usual terminus.
Local London Assembly member, John Biggs said: “TfL have asked me for my thoughts on the changes. As I do not ride every bus in East London I am asking residents to help me. There is some good news, with some services being expanded. But there is bad news, with others being cut, and in particular the people of Wapping, already affected by road closures and banned turns, will be further isolated by the changes. ”
“If you could let me know if you are happy with the changes and how they will affect your daily lives then that would be very helpful. If you think TfL have got it wrong and you have an alternative solution then do share it with me.”
