In response to the announcement that Enterprising Tottenham High Road in Haringey have been awarded £2,000,000 as part of the Mayor’s Good Growth Fund to alleviate deprivation in the community, local London Assembly Member, Joanne McCartney AM, said:
“We’ve had almost a decade of austerity and are at serious risk of seeing poverty and inequality becoming progressively normalised in our society.
“So, it is very positive to see City Hall stepping in where the Government have failed and properly investing in our community through the Mayor’s Good Growth Fund.
“Enterprising Tottenham High Road does invaluable work locally and it is great that they have received this significant funding boost, so they can make a difference to the lives of even more people in our community”.
