Commenting on TfL’s announcement to provide additional W3 bus services in the morning peak, Labour London Assembly Member for Enfield and Haringey, Joanne McCartney AM said:
“I welcome the additional services to the W3 route during the morning peak to alleviate the overcrowding that this hugely popular route experiences towards Finsbury Park. I am pleased that the Mayor of London and TfL have taken seriously the concerns that I have been consistently raising and have taken action to improve the services for paying customers.
“The two extra buses between 7am and 8am should help to reduce overcrowding on the W3 during the morning peak for passengers who have experienced unreliability, overcrowding and long waits to board a W3 for too long.
I will continue to monitor the service provided by the W3 bus route to ensure that passengers in Haringey are receiving a good service without the overcrowding that they have been experiencing.”
