City Hall relocation

Full occupation of the new City Hall at Royal Docks was originally scheduled for October 2021. The Mayor and London Assembly took permanent residence in the new building in March this year – a delay of five months.

The GLA Oversight Committee has investigated the relocation and written to the Mayor of London highlighting concerns about the process.

Future proofing the London Fire Brigade

Fire, Resilience and Emergency Planning Committee – City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 10.00am

What will the London Fire Brigade (LFB) look like in 2029? The Fire, Resilience and Emergency Planning Committee will meet to discuss the draft Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP), the Brigade’s strategy from 2023 to 2029.

Q&A with the Met

Police and Crime Committee – City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, 10.00am

HM Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire and Rescue Services (HMICFRS) has placed the Metropolitan Police into a form of special measures. The Police and Crime Committee will discuss the decision with the Met.
