Reducing drug-related deaths

Health Committee

The Health Committee publishes its report on aiming to reduce the number of drug-related deaths across London and the UK. It makes recommendations to the Mayor, the Government, and the Metropolitan Police Service, with a focus on three harm-reduction interventions: drug checking services, naloxone and drug consumption rooms.

As part of its investigation into the apprenticeship system, the Economy Committee will visit Newham College. This will include meeting current and prospective apprentices and a tour of the Stratford Campus, including a car mechanics workshop and plumbing and electrical workshops.
