The Planning and Regeneration Committee will investigate the community engagement on applications that are considered by the Mayor.

  • Does the Mayor take adequate account of community views when considering called-in applications?

Economically Insecure Londoners

Economy Committee – The Chamber - 10am

The Committee will investigate two areas relating to economic insecurity: the gig economy and financial exclusion. Estimates suggest that between 200,000 and 260,000 adult Londoners do not have access to a bank account. Meanwhile, one survey found that 25 per cent of workers in the gig economy earned less than the National Minimum Wage.
