Violence Reduction Unit
Police & Crime Committee – 10am
The Violence Reduction Unit (VRU) was set up by the Mayor in September 2018.
The VRU is designed to tackle violent crime by taking a systematic public-health approach.
Three years on, the Police and Crime Committee will explore how successful the VRU has been so far and the challenges posed by violent crime in London.
