The Mayor’s progress on skills, business, equality and culture

Economy Committee – 10 AM



The Economy Committee is holding a meeting to assess the Mayor’s progress on his manifesto and strategy commitments for skills, business, equality and culture. The Committee will explore what challenges have been faced as well as taking a close look at how these areas have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Committee will start the meeting by discussing Universal Basic Income. The guests are:

Living in the city: the future for high streets and tall flat blocks after COVID-19

The Planning and Regeneration Committee is holding a meeting on what London’s future homes and high streets will look like after COVID-19. With Londoners spending more time and home and in their local areas than ever, housing typology and high street vitality will have significant impact on the experience of living in London. COVID-19 Recovery: the next steps for London

London Assembly – 10 AM



The ondon Assembly will discuss the main challenges facing London’s COVID-19 recovery with invited guests. What are the next steps for the capital and the London Recovery Taskforce now that the roadmap to reopening has been unveiled by the Prime Minister?

Following the discussion, London Assembly Members will debate these motions.
