The Police and Crime Committee is holding a question and answer session with the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime, and the Metropolitan Police Service. Topics for discussion include custody and police protection, hate crime COVID-19 enforcement, and County Lines.

Preparing London for a COVID-19 Vaccine

Health Committee – 10.30am



The Health Committee will investigate what the NHS, the Mayor and the Government must do to ensure London is prepared to distribute a COVID-19 vaccine when one comes available. The Committee will look at attitudes towards vaccinations and what infrastructure will be needed to deliver a COVID-19 vaccination.

COVID-19, Housing Typologies and Design in London

Planning and Regeneration Committee – 10am

The Planning and Regeneration Committee will discuss lessons learned from its recent housing survey on Londoners’ attitudes towards their homes as a result of COVID-19. The Committee will also examine whether the Mayor’s new London Plan and the draft Good Quality Homes for All Londoners Supplementary Planning Guidance will support an appropriate mix of housing to meet the needs of Londoners.

Mayor’s Budget review 2020-21

Budget and Performance Committee – 10am

The Budget and Performance Committee will discuss the Mayor’s budget for 2020-21 following the Mayor’s assessment that the Greater London Authority will lose £493 million of business rates and council tax income across 2020-21 and 2021-22. The Committee will question the Mayor on Transport for London, the Greater London Authority, the Metropolitan Police Service, the London Fire Brigade and, the Mayor’s development corporations.
